OK got some good news - I know its terrible to say, but the group home didn't get funding and the house across the street was bought by an individual!!! It's official. I confirmed with the Village, Town and the group home organization!

I spoke to the mold people and they said the mold is contained to the crawl space and its due to the fact that the dryer exhaust was fed into the crawl space rather than outside. He says it is fixable and shouldn't "break" the deal as long as the sellers agree to pay the $7k - $8k to fix it.

Same with the abandoned underground oil tank - as long as they agree to have it removed and the soil tested prior to signing the contracts - we are fine with that.

So if the sellers agree to do the required work and the results are good - we still may have a home....
