SEATING/PLACE CARDS

Are you using the place cards provided by your catering hall or are you making your own?

If you're making your own on the computer - how are you doing that? Can I buy blank seating/place cards from a particular store?

Thx!

Re: SEATING/PLACE CARDS

They sell really inexpensive ones on the Oriental Trading Company website. They're cute with the little "ring for a kiss" bells attached.

Re: SEATING/PLACE CARDS

I am not sure yet about using the ones provided but to save $, i might. however, you can get blank cards in almost any color from lion in the sun in huntington. but they are not the cheapest things. at michaels, they have packaged ones, too, but it depends on what you like. i didn't think about doing them on the computer, but i am sure it is possible!

Re: SEATING/PLACE CARDS

I think I'll use the ones the hall gave us, but embellish with a flower in the corner or something......no sense in spending money on something that gets thrown away anyways!

Re: SEATING/PLACE CARDS

I am ordering escort cards from www.crane.com

They can be about 50.00 for close to 100 or as little as 100 for 38.00 for regular place cards.

Thesea re more for show than anything as we have a specific display plan in mind :)

Re: SEATING/PLACE CARDS

they also sell them at staples - For another party I made them myself. In the package was a website that when you went to it you downloaded the program for exactly what you were making, ie place cards and it was soooo easy. It came with the lines on the screen so you can see where it starts and ends - center it, change fonts, etc. We wasted like a sheet of them trying them out getting the spacing perfect b/c its a little off from the comp and picking a font.. after that it was a piece of cake.

Re: SEATING/PLACE CARDS

I know Michael's sells blank ones.

I ordered mine from Seasons of Love

here's a pic! We got the logo "we fell in love" instead of just the leaf icon. I love them!! they took only about 10 days to come in, if that!

Re: SEATING/PLACE CARDS

I was going to use the ones from the hall, but I just got them today and I think they are UUUUUUGLY!!! I need to "consult" with FH (tell him I don't like them-LOL) but we will probably wind up doing them ourselves. As cheaply as possible, of course.

here are mine...I had my invite woman make them...

I think they could easily be made as well...(inside there is a little chocolate) and you can buy ribbon to match and the pressed flowers at michaels...

Re: SEATING/PLACE CARDS

I was going to buy plain ones and make them on the computer too. A party store or michaels would have blank ones.
