QUESTION FOR LATIN BRIDES
ARE ANY OF YOU PUTTING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE INVITED ON THE RESPONSE CARD OR LETTING THE GUESTS DO IT THEMSELVES. I AM ASKING YOU GIRLS IN PARTICULAR ONLY BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN THIS DONE IN MANY HISPANIC WEDDINGS (THESE ARE THE ONLY WEDDINGS I HAVE BEEN TO) SINCE MANY OF OUR FAMILY MEMBERS WANT TO THE ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD AND MAYBE IT'S THE INVITATION IS JUST FOR THE ADULTS. MY SISTER DID THIS BECAUSE SOME OF OUR RELATIVES DO NOT KNOW WHAT ADULT RECEPTION MEANS!!!!!!!! AND THEY WERE PLANNING ON BRINGING ALL 6 OF THEIR KIDS WHEN IT WAS JUST THE COUPLE THAT WAS INVITED. JUST WANTED SOME FEEDBACK FROM ALL OF YOU. THANKS

Re: QUESTION FOR LATIN BRIDES
for my E party i let the guests do it themselves but for the wedding i will write in print
Recieption to follow for ADULTS ONLY and give the info as to where the location is and such. Also the only kids i wont mind will be babies (so i plan to call those families and ask them if they will bring their babies) to allow for extra room at the tables.
if anyone asks ill tell them ts for adults only
and also have familiy members and siblings spread the word no kids if you still have a doubt, call back to check
Good Luck

Re: QUESTION FOR LATIN BRIDES
Yes I plan on writing the number invited on the response card. For the reception card I'm putting:
Adult Reception following.....etc.

Re: QUESTION FOR LATIN BRIDES
OH GOOD, MY SISTER AND I ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES. WE DIDN'T WANT TO BE RUDE BUT I HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN SO MANY TIMES BEFORE THAT YOU LEAVE THE NUMBER BLANK AND PEOPLE TAKE IT UPON THEMSELVES TO PUT DOWN LIKE 10 PEOPLE. I DON'T MEAN TO PUT DOWN MY OWN FAMILY BUT IT JUST THAT IN OUR COUNTRY, WEDDINGS ARE DONE SO DIFFERENTLY, WELL AT LEAST THE TRADITIONAL ONES. THEY HAVE NO SUCH THINGS AS RSVP OR PAYING PP AND STUFF. BUT THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSES.

Re: QUESTION FOR LATIN BRIDES
Lets all be honest here, since we are all latinas. You know Tia Maria is going to bring her neighbor Guadalupe and her friend from church Otilia and the town gossip/witch doctor Paquita. Im putting down the number on the card to SPECIFIC people that I damn well know want to bring the entire apartment complex with them. As for children, Im also putting on the invitation "No children please" because with my family - if it's not in print, then it doesnt apply to them. I specifically set it up where the only children that will be there are all in the wedding party. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

Re: QUESTION FOR LATIN BRIDES
OMG, divabride that is so funny but it's soooooooooooo true!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister had put down 2 people on this particular response card and since they had not responded, she decided to give them a call. well the guy tells her that yes, all 4 of them are coming. UM...Hello!!!!!!!! the card says 2. and then there were others from her husband's family (well FI back then) that for example, had 4 on their cards and crossed out 2 (so obviously we thought only 2 out of the 4 could make it) but then they checked the "cannot attend card" SO WHICH ONE IS IT? ARE 2 COMING OR NONE OF YOU!!!!!! The response cards were in SPANISH!!!!!! so it wasn't like they couldn't understand what they said. Oh but you just have to laugh at things like that!!!!!!!!

Re: QUESTION FOR LATIN BRIDES
To us that's not even a question. Our families are huge, and people that know us are asking if they're invited and if they can bring so and so (I DON'T THINK SO). Make sure you start spreading by word of the mouth that univited guests will not be allowed in. At his sisters wedding 30 people should up that weren't specifically invited but showed up with guests. Tell me how rude is that showing up to place where you weren't even invitied to in the first place.
