Open bar ??
Can anyone tell me what catering halls charge for open bar if it's a seperate cost?

It's included. I have never seen one without. I think that you would have to request a cash bar.

Usually included but went to one place.... (which shall remain nameless) that wanted to charge an extra $500 if we wanted a martini bar. My FW told me that this isn't too out of the ordinary but the place didn't really impress me.. (the FW hated it.. OMG) but I thought since it was already over-priced in my opinion, that they could have thrown that in.

It's included in my price, but I've seen it priced separately at plenty of other places. On average the prices I've seen are about $7-10 per person, per hour for "top shelf" open bar, and $10+ for "premium". So 4 hours of a premium open bar could cost around $40 per person plus tax/grat.

its included at mine but i think most places will take off a certain amount pp if you dont want to have one.. i think it works out to like $10 or $15 pp

It came included with my hall. Are you having you food catered elsewhere and just using the catering hall as the site. That is usually when things get broken down.
