vent but funny!!! The wife treatment
Ok, I am really getting a taste of being a wife.. As I clean the house, do the grocery shopping, pick up all of the birthday, christmas, hannukah, etc gifts, send everyone cards on there birthdays, arrange dinner's, and nights out, keep up with feeding the pets, and doing the laundry, get the gas in the car, organize the office, hmmm.. is there anything else??? I just think it is so funny. My fi helps but I really feel like I AM DOING EVERYTHING!!!! I kind of like it, but it's just a shocker, it's like taking on a whole other life.. now instead of just keeping my life together, I have to juggle two,and when we have kids, that even more lives.. UGGHHH!! Can I handle it??? We're not even married yet!!??!!? Oh yeah, I HAVE TO GO BUY HIM MORE BOXERS AND SOCKS... what did he do without me, huh?? I woud love to know.. well, I'm off to target to get his brother a birthday gift, and myself a gift, on him..  I know you ladies can relate..

I do the same thing and at first I liked it. I think I was just playing house, but I am learning how to let him handle some stuff otherwise you can get overwhelmed. Even if cards to his fam are late, and birthday gifts are last minute you can't do it all. Esp. not if you work full time.

Oh yes I can definatly relate. Cleaning, laundry, setting up appointments for things, paying the bills, attempting to cook some nights, feeding the pets, going to the pet store, running errands, dropping off the dry cleaning, packing things up, etc....
He helps out as well which is great, but I definatly feel like a true wife

I feel the same way. I am so tired of cleaning and cooking. It's like when we moved in together, he forgot how to use the stove, wash a dish and pick up a mop.
It's like once the find someone they forget how to take care of themselves. The other day we were shopping and he asked me what size underwear he wore!!
