Where are my ATLANTICA Brides??? How's the Planning Going?

I would love to hear from anyone getting married at Atlantica as well as brides who have gotten married there too! :)

i am not, but a very good friend of mine is getting married there on 8/1. i've been trying to convince her to visit LIW but so far, no such luck, but i'll keep at it

We were married there September 26, 2003. It was a DREAM wedding.

Me me me!!! We had our recption there on 9/13/03 and it was absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend them enough - I iwsh I could do the day all over again. You will not be disappointed. Fell free to FM me if you have any questions.

PS - We also used Verdi and were EXTREMELY happy with them. (We are Jen & Steve Cooke on their site if you want to check out the Atlantica pics)

Can someone FM me what they are paying per plate and when the wedding is? I'd like to go see it, but it's a VERY far trip for me, and if it's way out of range it's pointless to tease my FW with it.

I can't believe I missed this thread! I am getting married there on May 8th. We went for our tasting there about 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely AMAZING! We are so happy we decided to have our wedding there!!

Oh me too!! I'm getting married there on October 15, 2004. I know my user name is a different date, but we had to change the date.

It was originally labor day weekend, but we had a hard time booking vendors, because it was such a crazy weekend in the Hamptons. (traffic wise too).

I still have tons to plan...so maybe we can help each other.

If there's anything I do know...is if you want to rent a house out there for the days or week leading to your wedding, I've made tons of connections to recommend for you.

We decided to rent out 2 houses 1 mile from Atlantica for my family and friends who are flying out and staying for more than 3 days.
That way people can save money! The rest of the guest from NYC area are just getting rooms at B&B or at the club itself.

I would actually LOVE any info you could give me on renting houses in Westhampton for the weekend!!!

Hi! I am booked at Atlantica for 11/28/04. I feel like I have so much left to do. I am checking out photographers right now. We are moving in two weeks and I am hoping that once we are settled in the new place that I can really get moving on vendors.

Does anybody have any feedback on vendors including photographers, DJ, florists, and videographers?

How about places to stay out there? We will be living in Brooklyn and many of our guests are out of town. I am thinking about the Inn at Quogue but maybe a house is the way to go.

I did order my save the date cards today. I ordered local postcards from Lynn's Cards and Gifts in Westhampton Beach!

Claire Bean the florist is great!!!! She is on the vendor list that the Atlantica gives you. Her ideas are so different and she is great to work with.

I think I set my budget a little low for photographer. I am still suffering a bit of sticker shock over everything. I just saw a porfolio online today that I love - www.susanbakerphotography.com.

I haven't even begun to think about menu yet! So much to do!

We are using verdi for photographer, eturnity for our band and mary conway for our flowers. I know jennyg used claire bean although I think Claire may be on the expensive side because she's in westhampton. We are staying at the inn at quogue - and having rehearsal dinner there. They have been great so far. As far as add-ons for cocktail hour - we are only having the pasta bar. From what I've heard from past Atlantica brides, there is plenty of food so no need for add-ons. Let me know if you guys i have any other questions - I'm almost three months and counting so I'll be able to give you guys a review before your weddings.

I have a question, I'm in the process of looking into hotels, Inns, etc...
Where is everyone staying on their wedding night? Any special places out there? We're not sure where we want to stay yet.
I'd love a good recommendation.

I think we may stay at The Inn at Quogue on the wedding night, but if you need ideas, check out The Hidden Mill Inn. It's in Remsenburg, which is a few miles away. Check out the Tea House at back, it's really cute. I love it.
