I heard a rumor - does anyone know if this is true?
That the Scotto family has purchased the long-owned, family run Villa Lombardi's reception site?
I am confused now, b/c late last year I also heard that the Lombardi family bought the Port Jefferson Country Club.

I have not heard that, I really doubt that is true. I did hear the Scottos are looking into purchasing John Anthony's.

I did hear that Villa Lombardi's will be running PJCC. The village though still has a big say though as to what goes on with the country club. As far as renovations, I heard that they are possibly going to be having weddings upstairs, on the ground floor and they are turning another area into a room. I also heard that they are extending the deck outside to the cliff. I'm not sure how accurate this is but I this is what I was told last week. I wonder if they will be doing more than one wedding at a time?

I heard that rumor a long time ago but i don't believe that is is true. The Lombardi family has so many plans to build a little bridal empire that I doubt they would sell their site.

I heard this not that long ago and asked my banquet manager at Villa Lombardi and he so no, they did not sell to the Scotto's but yes they now run Port Jeff Country Club.
Even when I called Villa to make reservations for the showcase they asked if I was having my wedding at Villa or PJCC.

That rumor's been around for a while. When we were looking for a location for my sister's wedding the banquet manager at another hall told us that, right after she asked me where my wedding was and then proceded to tell us that Flowerfield has rats and was closing.

I don't think it's true... when I was at my final meeting with Fox Hollow, we were talking about a rumor I had heard and they were laughing because it has been said they were buying out Villa Lombardi's. I dont want to mention names of who this conversation was with, but it was with a pretty reputable source
