sandals st lucia honeymoon
hi everyone,
my fiance are thinking about going to sandals in st. lucia and was wondering the price difference between the spa one and the golf one. is there a big difference between them in experience and price?
i am looking for some feedback and the cost of a honeymoon like this for 7 nights.
do we have to go through sandals themselves, a travel agent or are there reliable websites that will get us a good deal?
thanks

Re: sandals st lucia honeymoon
Through Expedia I was quoted $2200 for Spa and $2500 for Golf per person. This is for July for 7 nights.

St Lucia Golf & Spa? Is this the one you are talking about? The golf and spa is one place. there are two others in st lucia.

Re: sandals st lucia honeymoon
Hey! There are a couple of factors that the price depend on, mainly how many nights and what room you want. We went to the Grande St. Lucian. Had a great time! The other resorts are the Regency Golf and Spa. Or the Halcyon. From what I understood when I was there, the Halcyon is smaller, more secluded like if you want to be alone. The Golf and Grande are bigger, the Golf has better restaurants then the Grande. But you can travel to any of them to eat. The Grande is more of a beachy party resort and a younger crowd. We used a travel agent. The price was 5800 for 11 nights, all inclusive with an Oceanview room.

Re: sandals st lucia honeymoon
The spa and golf one are the same. We chose that one for our HM because it was bigger with more restaurants and more to do. Plus, the couples massages are worth the money there. It depends if you want to be active or just want quiet...

Re: sandals st lucia honeymoon
It depends on the room.
We booked through a travel agent (KELLY NU from ALL ABOUT TRAVEL in New Hyde park who is GREAT!!)
We are staying at the Grande in the penthouse honeymoon conceirge suite for 9 days and are paying $6500 with airfare.
It was only a little bit less than off the website, but our agent helped w/ airfare & also got us a spa credit.
