Labor Day weekend brides
I just talked to someone who made me start to freak out that people will be in traffic all day getting my wedding. Is it really that terrible. I'm getting married saturday in the evening?

no!!! dont stress people wont be stuck in traffic.. i mean they might but thats 2 bad!! they wont be late for your sat night wedding anyway b/c most people for your wedding will leave sat afternoon. most the traffic on the road is fri night early sat morning.

relax. First off, anyone who lives on long island should expect and plan for traffic. I have a little over 2 hours between the church and the reception so they have plenty of time to get there. even in traffic (I faced once driving to hall, it only took 45 minutes to get there.)
I am still undecided about going to beach with FH for a few shots for that reason. Might just stick to a local on in the bay

My FH was concerned with that as well. But 97% of our guests live on LI and (as jenny2penny said) know what it's like...as adults, I'm sure they'll all prepare.
