FI's Friend (vent/question)
I CAN'T STAND one of my fi's friends. Not only do i dislike him i can't stand his tacky wife too. This guy isn't a close friend but he does call time to time.
When my Fi and i were making up our priliminary "Who We Want to Invite" list his name (thankfully) was not on it.
Well guess who called tonight... the idiot himself. I really hope my fi doesn't want to ADD HIM ON!
But if the issue comes up, how would you handle this?
1. Put him on the invite list...Even though his presence would IRITATE ME...it is my FI's day to?
or
2. Insist on him not being there

Thats a tough situation. How does your fiance feel about him coming? Well since he didn't put him on the list he must not want him there that badly. I would probably say that "I REALLY don't want him there but if it very important to you (your FH) then he can be invited".

I would ask your FI about it too - but if he ends up wanting to invite him - there are going to be so many people at you're wedding that you are excited to see and you are going to be so excited b/c it's your wedding - that you prob won't even notice him there!!! Good Luck!

Yes i think he knows i dislike him. Especially, since i TELL HIM I HATE THE A*#. I am not one to hide my feelings.
But i think seeing him at my wedding would REALLY iritate me...

I think if he wasn't on the list to begin with, he can't be that important to your FI. If he was on the list to begin with I might suck it up, because I love my FI.
But I don't know, if he wasn't supposed to be invited to begin with, I would question it and I think I would stand my ground if my FI decided to invite this person.

Speak with your FH, find out how he feels about inviting him or not. I agree with mrswask in that there will be so many people there & you will be so occupied that you wont even notice he's there. Good luck!

This guy wasn't on our first list and my FI hasn't said anything (yet) about adding him on (thankfully) but when he called tonight, anxiety rushed over me about having to invite this bozo.
I guess when the time comes, if he REALLY wants him there i will have to give in, but i will still hope his name will be forgotten.

I suppose if he hasn't mentioned inviting him yet, perhaps he won't. Does he know how strongly you feel about having this guy at the wedding? Good luck on this!
