This is so true! I didn't like my dress on the hanger but I tried it on anyway. It was actaully the first dress I tried on and it definately is the one!

Ditto. I wanted no flowers and no flashy shiny things.. and my dress has both!! BIG roses and shiny silver accents. I thought she was nuts when she said try it on. But I LOVE MY DRESS!

You will have fun. You will also know when you have the right one, trust me! I tried on at least 30-40 dresses before my mom cried and said ,"That's it!"

Have fun!!! Try on anything and everything!! But don't waste time. If you put one on and you know it's not it, move on to the next!! Trust me I've been making that mistake... I sit there and dawdle with the gown on -- just take it off and say "next!" Here I am 40 gowns and 3 months later and I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND MY DRESS!!! Also don't wear a thong unless you don't mind flashing the sales ladies your bootay!! Wear a strapless bustier if you have one or at least a strapless bra. Have fun!!!

Wow thats cool, I was alos going to check out some local shops tommorow too. Thanks for all the tips. Although I did not really plan on trying anything on, I jsut want to look at some styles and get a feel for prices and things. My mom is going to go with me later in the week to try stuff on.
