Aruba Hotels

Hi ladies. I know that there are so many Aruba experts on this board so I had a question regarding hotels. What is it that makes certain hotels more desirable than others? I hear that people really like the RadissonI am staying at the Marriott and wanted to know what the difference is. Any info is much appreciated.

Re: Aruba Hotels

DH and I just got back from our HM in Aruba...and we also stayed at the Marriott...DH has the Marriott rewards and we wanted to get the points!!!

But, when we saw the other hotels there we wished we had stayed at the Hyatt and/or the Radisson.

Both the Hyatt and Radisson seemed to have more to offer around the hotel...their casinos were nicer and more up to date...their pools were nicer. Both of these hotels seemed just in general to be more updated than the Marriott...actually the Radisson just underwent billions in renovations.

I can't say anything about the rooms because we did not see them...however, the Marriott's rooms are really nice...very spacious and we had a room that overlooked the ocean with a huge balcony.

We stayed at the Radisson for our HM and I loved it. The rooms were big and modern and very clean. the restaurants were delicious and the pool was amazing!!!!!! I loved the tropical look of it and my balcony was just right

don't be worried, I can't say any of the hotels in Aruba are bad!
They are all beautiful and well maintained. My friends, myself, even my doctor go to aruba yearly and we all stay or stayed in different hotels. The Divi is nice!

Re: Aruba Hotels

I stayed at the Allegro resort which is all inclusive, I think it was right next to the Radisson, I was very happy with the Allegro resort, and it's very affordable, you should just go onto the websites and check each one out.

Re: Aruba Hotels

Hey,

My parents have a time share in Aruba and have gone every year for the last 10 years. I have been there 3 times, so I know the island and hotels pretty well. The Marriott is very nice, the Hyatt is by far the nicest and the prettiest. The Radisson isn't bad, but I definitely like the Marriott and Hyatt better. The casino at the Wyndham is pretty good. The Radisson casino is nice, the ceiling is like a big planatarium. If you like steak, definitely go to El Gaucho, best steak I have ever had. Have fun!!

Re: Aruba Hotels

We're staying at the wyndham next August. We were about to book the hyatt, but then inquired about the all-inclusive deals and were told that the wyndham had the best deals for that... Any feedback on the wydham? anyone?
