Help - looking for reception hall for a friend for April '05 for $65pp
I remember seeing a post about a hall out in Suffolk - the link was to some polish/american site and it had information about the reception hall. I also think I remember seeing that Timber Point is not that expensive?
She's trying to limit guest list to 100 ppl.

I think Miller Place inn is around $65 pp, it's very nice, and it would be perfect for 100people.. Or country gardens at east wind

Sunset Harbor is a very nice place. The food was really good. I also liked the set up. It is different which is what I like about it.

Meadow club defiantely!!! I am getting married on a Saturday night in June and paying just over that!!!
The riveria for a saturday night in April 04 was $82, dont know about different days of the week!

I told her today about Timber Point, the Swan Club, Sunset Harbor, Verdi's of Westbury, Stewart Manor Country Club and Manor East.
Her sister just got married in Nov at the Riviera so she doesn't want to get married there - not that it isn't nice but she wants a difference place.
If she still hasn't found a place she likes I'll suggest some of the other places here. Thanks!

It depends on what kind of a hall you are looking for. Personally I hate the standard catering hall look. I would rather a country club feel. The Riviera is absolutely perfect for that but when I went to see them the other day they wanted $100.00 a plate.. I was looking for a fall wedding but I asked when their prices fall within the $65 -$75 range and was told January was the only off month they have.
I also saw the Stewart Manor Country club and although not as beautiful (in my opinion) it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend checking them out. Their prices were great $65-$80 before tax and tip.

Thatched Cottage in Centerport ranges in price, but you might get it @65 per person, depending on the time of year/season

i think you are thinking of the polish american hall in riverhead - they have good prices -
i am having it at miller place inn 70 pp but they have a minimum of 125 - they may work with you on a friday or sunday - call and talk to luanne she is the banquet manager
