So frustrating! Can someone please tell me where to find NON-low rise jeans?
Sheesh! I cannot find jeans anywhere that come past the middle of my ass. I'm sorry, but I do NOT have the body for low-rise jeans, and they are all tight around my thighs and butt and sit halfway down my rear end so that my panties are hanging all out in a most unflattering manner. I am so sick of the designers catering to the thin only and deciding that since low-rise is in, all regular friggen jeans are out! I used to be able to buy jeans at Express, but every single pair there is low-rise, lower low-rise, or super low-rise. HELP! I need regular jeans with waistbands! Can someone please tell me where I can get regular jeans that will fit my fat ass and thinner waist and will actually cover my crack?

I also heard Gaps, long and lean, or is it called slim fit??? (Oprah swears by them)

try the Gap. I just bought the flares, ankle length and they fit perfect for my body type.

Jenn, the problem with VS is that they don't sell jeans in their stores and I really need to try pants and jeans on before I purchase them. I have a pair of pants that I bought today at Express that I have to return because I was too disgusted with the line at the dressing room to try anything on and I purposely got a size bigger and still have the same problem! I can't win.

Oh god this is so true!
I like the way the low rise look when im standing up but the reality is that anyone my size (that sounds like IM a million pounds but you know what I mean) needs something that has a waist so the pants dont just fall right down when i walk and bend!
Ive been wearing Gaps Long and Lean which look cool but arent really practical. Im always hiking thme up b/c they fall off!!!

LOL I so can feel ya. I end up shopping for Tommy Jeans.. he still makes regular fit jeans.. levi's 550 and 510s are normal too. Otherwise I end up going to Eddie Bauer.
If you find a spot you let me know. My ass is too large to be spread out in low rise. Crack is bad.

I've been wearing gap Long & Leans as well- I find they are find as long as I am wearing a belt or else I have to keep pulling them up too.

Jenn, I was at the one in the Bay Terrace Shopping Center.
What's up with the Gap Long and Lean that makes them keep falling down? Is it that you have to get them a little bigger to fit right? I hate it when I sit down and everyone can see my undies. FH loves to embarrass me when that happens and says, "Honey, you're Secret is showing." Dumbass.

NY and Company has jeans that fit at the waist. I swear by them. I have a curvy figure (even while not preggo) and they fit me the best out of any jeans i have tried. Plus, they are SUPER inexpensive. Try em!

I have Gap jeans too. They fit me best, but still not that great, especially b/c they have ankle length. They have one line that is low rise but the rest aren't. I hate the low rise too! I am afraid I'll be exposing my rear when I bend over!
You have to be careful with Gap jeans though. The stretch ones often stretch out in the waist but shrink in length when you wear/wash them. I found I have to get a size smaller and regular length in them and that still isn't perfect.
Thanks for the suggestion of NY & Company. I think they make lengths for short people! I have an Ann Taylor Loft pair that I'm not too crazy about.

Check out the Gap, Classic Fit. I happen to like low-rise jeans, but I can't wear them because my thighs do not fit in the slim or regular-style jeans. That's the only store I've had luck in.

I FOUND THEM!
FH and I went to The Crossings in PA yesterday and went to the Gap Outlet Store. For anyone looking for the world's most comfy jeans, try to find the Gap Boot Cut Stretch Jeans. They sit at the waist and are soooooo soft and comfy. Of course, I had to get a size bigger than usual because I'm a pig, but they are perfect and don't have too much of a gap at the waist.
I have to see if the store near me carries them now.
