Serving Size - posting here due to higher traffic

I am making latkes for tomorrow (they're frying as I type...yum!), and there will be 6 of us. Do you think that 3 latkes per person is enough? They are about 3 inches in diameter (1/4 cup of the mix). I don't want to have to make an entire new batch in addition to this, as it is both time consuming and tiring, but do you think it will be enough? I don't want to seem stingy with the latkes, but I also don't want to overdo it. HELP!

Edited to change diameter size...I suck with inches...maybe 2, maybe 3...about the size of the palm of my hand.

sounds like enough....

in my family theyd be eating a bunch more.. my mom makes them like 4" wide and we eat like 4 or 5 of them... but thats not when there are side dishes

I'm not making anything else. My mother is hosting, but I'm making the latkes. I edited the size to about the size of the palm of my hand. I know my mom is cooking enough other stuff to feed an army, but latkes are what Chanukah's all about - at least for me and my fat ass!

I always use a 5 pound bag of potatoes when making potato pancakes...b/c they are SOOOO good
