Im full of personal questions tonight!
Has anyone used the birth control pill Triphasil? My doc wants to start me on this to regulate my period and Ive never been on any pill before..and Im kinda not liking the idea of it to be honest..
Any feedback?

YES..had no bad exp with them...but it has been a while..try it out for a couple of weeks, your body has to adjust to the change in hormones..it may even take a month or two to really tell whether or not it suits you...either way, you just let your dr. know how your feeling...good or bad..etc...
By the way...how was your 1st dr.'s experience..?? Not too bad huh? It gets easier from here on...congrats!!

Hey Noreen - I took that one for a while with no problems... I was a little freaked out at first, but there are definite pluses to using BCP and now I can't imagine not being on them!

Im pretty sure thats the pill I took when I first started using BCP. The worst part is getting started b/c some people feel naseous during those first few days. But your body adjusts to it if you follow the instructions.
Once you take them, there are some significant advantages. Aside from the its main advantage (no baby, no baby), its nice to know EXACTLY where you are in yuor cycle at all times. And certain BCP make your skin look better too :D And it supposedly supposed to decrease your chances of breast cancer.

That was my FIRST bP pill and I had NO problems with it. I use Ortho now because I thought it would give me clearer skin- NOT.
I really have had no problems at all with any bp pills.
