STD/Outside Envelope Question...
I will be sending my STD's out with my Christmas Cards. I have a silly question. For all the single people - do I address the outside envelope with just their name and address or with the name of their significant other also?
What if I don't know who they are bringing? Do I put Ms. Jane Smith and Guest even though they are STD's?

I was told by a few people just to address the STD to the person you are inviting - that it isn't an invitation - but an announcement to your invited person to save the date - you are not inviting them anywhere yet so there is no need to put a guest's name on the STD. THat's what I did - it made sense to me!

Just to add my two cents, my daughter did put and guest on a few bec. she felt a significant other may need to hold the date as well. I would say think of the particular person in question and do what is appropriate.

I didn't use & guest on my STDs. If someone has been with someone for a while, I addressed the STD to both of them so they both knew to SAVE THE DATE!!!!!
