Red Bull energy drink (sugar free)

I want to try it out and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this stuff? is it safe?

I'd rather drink 4 2litre bottles of mountain dew for a boost.

He said taste is slightly different, but still good, and still gives a good boost of energy.
