I don't think so, but I also think the roads are still a mess. A lot worse than they SHOULD look.

i don't think my school has a delay. the roads are pretty much cleared up.

I just checked walkradio.com and middle country school district is on a two hour delay too. The roads are not very good around where my sister lives (in Coram). Oh well. I'm sure I will be at work bright and early tomorrow!

My district has only had 1 delayed opening in the 8 years that I have been there! But you know what I don't mind, I am so ready to be out of the house!!!!! Happy Monday!!!!!!!

i only get 4 paid sick days but i guess its better than none. i already used one up so i have 3 left. this is my first full year teaching and so far i haven't gotten sick-sick. i mean i do get colds here and there but nothing major and i am around 5 year old all day that cough and sneeze all over the place. i've always heard that the first year of teaching is tough because you're not immune to all the germs and stuff. so far i have been lucky!

junebride, I would give my left pinky toe to have some sick days. Although, I showed up for work a few weeks ago and was REALLY sick, so they sent me home and I still got paid, so I guess that counts.
