You must be excited. Congrats! Ask about special hanging instructions. Some have to be laid flat, some can't be. Also ask about emergency spot treatment... you never know.

I"m going to pick up my gown tomorrow..
I picked up my gown from David's Bridal in September and my wedding is next October....
I purchased one of their garment bags and, as the store suggested, I have a white sheet wrapped around the gown to prevent dust and discoloration. They also advised to keep the zipper of the garment bag opened 6 to 12 inches from the bottom to allow the gown to "breath).
My gown is hanging in a bedroom at my mother's house and there it will stay until alterations begin in July!

Don't forget to try it on make sure all is OK before you leave the store...
Ask when you should make an appt. for alterations....(if you're having the store do the alterations).

Believe me there was NO RUSH!! I panicked when I found out my dress was in already!!! But it is and I have to deal with it.. I couldn't be happier.. THere are a lot of other brides, that have gotten their dresses this early.. I found the one I want and I got it.. It's absolutely perfect. People wear their mothers dresses that have been around for 20 years, I'm sure I have nothing to worry about. Anyway, I got it, it's here, and I couldn't be more satisfied.. THanks for all your help

I don't have any suggestions but I would love to have my gown right NOW. Why not get it right away. Better safe then sorry. I would love to be able to look at it whenever I wanted Good Luck!!
