WEDDING REVIEW--11/22 AT FOX HOLLOW!!

Hello Everyone!! I just got back from my honeymoon yesterday -- Our wedding day & honeymoon were great and I know it may sound corny but I really did feel like a princess and it was like a fairytale. I thank God that everything went well & I am thankful to be married to my best friend & the man I love.

I am also grateful to have found this website & the people on this board who gave me great advice & helped me to find the great vendors that made everything go smoothly!!!

First of all, the weather turned out beautiful that day! At first I was worried that it would rain or that I would be cold--but that didn't happen and the beautiful skies provided a nice background for pictures.

Makeup & Hair (Aly -- Perfect Bride): A++
She did a great job on my hair & makeup. I felt so beautiful & I did not have to touch up anything except my lipstick. She was very nice and calming.

Wedding Gown (Bridal Suite of Manhattan--A++): I had a Maggie Sottero dress & it was my dream dress & the best part was that it didn't go over my budget! I loved it! They did a great job on the alterations & I loved the bustle as well. The dress also came with a nice matching shawl & purse. Everyone complimented me on this dress!!

Fort Washington Florist (They did my flowers for the Bridal Party & the church--A)
The flowers were beautiful & came exactly as I wanted. The church looked beautiful--they did a great job & gave me a good price. The only reason I didn't give them an A+ is because my bouquet started to brown a little right after the cocktail hour, but no one noticed but me.

Cassarino Photographer (rating--?) I had Robby & he was great--very nice & easy to work with. He kept us laughing the whole time. He was on time, took some very creative shots of us through out the day & I'll have to see the pictures before I can give a final rating.

Wild Rose (rating--?) I had Marie & John & they were both wonderful. I hardly noticed them during the ceremony or reception & I have to check out the video before I can give the rating for this as well.

Royalty Limos (A++) We had 2 limos & a rolls royce & all the drivers were awesome! They arrived early and were very sweet & accomodating. The rolls royce was in great condition and I did not get any dirt or grease on my dress. They helped out a lot in the church with the runner, etc. & one of the drivers--Tina even helped fix one of my bridesmaids' dresses..

Distinctive Designs (A++) They are the house florist for Fox Hollow & they did the centerpieces & the flowers for the cake beautifully! It was exactly what I had asked for and everything looked very pretty.

Elegancia Entertainment (A+++++) I had a DJ & MC (Jose & Lucy--who are husband & wife owners of the company) & they were AWESOME!! They had everyone on the dancefloor! They played everything my husband & I like-- Merengue, Salsa, HipHop & did a good mix of musice...It was great. Everyone really had a good time & they kept the party moving along nicely! I loved the way they did our entrance & their lighting effects as well...

Fox Hollow (A+++++) When we arrived the bridal attendant was waiting there and greeted us. They really treated us like royalty. Everyone was very sweet and I was told there was another wedding there that night but I did not notice any other guests and I never saw the other bride. Everything looked beautiful. The service there is great--the Maitre'd & attendants were always making sure we were okay & kept asking if we wanted something to eat or drink & brought some appetizers for us to munch on. I am glad we arrived early because we got first dibs on the Photo studio and we were able to take lots of nice pictures there by the waterfall & the fireplace... The bridal suite was very nice as well & they had food and drinks for us there too. We were able to join our cocktail hour which was cool & we had the reception in the Winter Garden Pavilion. The room looked really pretty & magical with all the lights & the waterfall. It was exactly how I wanted it to be!!! The food was delicious & we had time to sit down & eat our dinner as well as our cake! A lot of people told me & my mom that they really enjoyed themselves & loved the Fox Hollow--so future Fox Hollow brides you have nothing to worry about!!

Honeymoon--Aruba, Radisson Hotel (A++++)
We had a wonderful time in paradise & it was hard to come back home especially to the cold weather. The Radisson hotel is beautiful & we had a gorgeous view of the ocean from our balcony. We relaxed on the beach & also did a lot of fun activities. We loved the Jeep tour & the horseback riding but our top favorites were the snorkeling and the sunset sail which was very romantic. We ate at some great restaurants (which I had gotten from the boards) and our favorite was Simply Fish which was at the Marriott Hotel and they seat you right on the beach so you are eating under the stars right by the sea--it was so nice & romantic

I can't believe how fast it all went by but our research & planning definitely paid off!! I hope this review is helpful to other ladies on the board & I wish lots of good luck to those of you currently planning your weddings!

Congrats. I'm so happy everything went so well. We used so many of the same vendors, I'm glad you had the same great experiences. I love Jose and Lucy, I recommend Elegancia to everyone. They are doing my brother's wedding next year too.
I've raved about Fox Hollow so many times, I was thrilled with everything on my wedding day. I agree with you that future Fox Hollow brides have nothing to worry about.

Congrats!!! I'm thrilled to hear you give Elegancia a great review -- I booked them too. I wonder if it was a tape of your wedding that I saw when I went to book them last week (they said it was very recent, 1 or 2 weeks prior)... well, anyway, that wedding looked like so much fun, and the dance floor was absolutely packed! Congrats again and I'm glad to hear everything went so well!
