Lucky by Alice Sebold
What a great book... it was depressing but moving at the same time.
I was just wondering if every else would have respond like Lila did? If I thought that it was because they wanted to get revenge on Alice I would have pulled away from my friend too...

Re: Lucky by Alice Sebold
I read that a while ago, and yes, it was moving. But I still don't think I would have treated my friend that way....
But I guess you never know what you will do in that type of traumatic situation. Who knows what that does to someone's mental state and their ability to deal with things and people.
So sad!

That was a great book, I can't imagine going through that- as the victim or her family.
