I don't know what to wear to a wedding...
Hi all!
I have a wedding to go to in two weeks at the Watermill. I have no idea what to wear - I've never gone to a winter wedding. I have three black gowns - two have spaghetti straps and one is off the shoulder. Do you think a spaghetti strap dress with a shawl would look silly in December? TIA!

FSIL's wedding is this Thursday. I'm wearing a black velvet gown that is sleevless with a black wrap. My back-up dress is grey with spaghetti straps. I don't think it's silly at all, I say just don't wear open toe shoes.

Not at all. I have been to a few winter weddings and have worn a shawl with my dress at all of them.
