calling all daycare workers or moms in the know

hi there-
I know we discussed this already..but now I am in shopping mode for the holidays...

what is the $$ range of the gift for a daycare provider??

I will need to make FOUR of these gifts as there were 2 ladies in the baby room that took care of J...and now there are 2 primary caregivers in the one yr old room..and 2 or 3 assistants.
I got some nice bath stuff for the assistants,,,what do I spend on the primaries?

I know some may recommend goft certs to get nails done or a massage but there are no places NEAR the center...and I dont want to search around for something that they may not use...

I was thinking maybe a AMEX gift check...but I am also on some sort of a budget!...but (again!) I dont want to be chinzy with the ladies that care for J...

I am a preschool teacher and I know that any type of gift certificate is greatly appreciated. You can get one of those overall ones at the mall where they can use it in any store. We always love those. One of my faves are barnes and noble gift cards..I always use it to buy more kids books for my class.

hi, I am a preschool teacher too. The parents last year gave me, lots of gift certificates to the mall, and cash ($40.00)

You can also think about bath and body work sets, such as lotions. Good Luck!

four people....would like to keep it under $100

I think they would prefer AMEX gift checks...
