We sure did! We have to split T-day every year between my family and his and we go to my family's house first since we eat early. Well, needless to say, someone's mother, won't say whose, but she was cursing and screaming and slamming dishes down on the table because we got to her house at 6:15 instead of 6:00, AND we called. ARGH! What would a holiday be without the stress?

I am so glad we don't have to deal with that. We had Dale's dad over for Thanksgiving. So it was very quiet. (in a good way). Sorry you had drama on a holiday!

This was the first joint Turkey day for us and everything was great! I was amazed at how calm everything was. My mother, (who is not the nicest person in the world and actually could be quite NASTY, was such a good girl!) We ran a little late in terms of food prep, but all in all I was pleasantly surprised!

Brawl? no. But my dad overdid the alcohol once again and spilled a whole glass of wine on DH...and then, as always, refused to apologize or even admit he was wrong and, instead, yelled at my husband (I have no idea what for)! always fun. not.

We survived yesterday but this morning my husband kicked his brother (who has been living with us for about a month) out of the house because he was hung over and not helping my husband paint the guest room.

I think my husband is totally wrong and overreacted as he usually does. He has alienated his entire immediate family except his mom......wonder how long that will take.
