Re: sewing cups into dress versus separate bra/corset..
As a bridesmaid, I had the seamstress mistakenly put cups in the spaghetti strap one piece when I had planned on wearing a bra. I was so mad because I thought it would never work (I have a descent sized chest and thought there'd be no support), but it worked out great! They were wonderful--it was really comfortable, I had not lines where my bra would have been visible and it was cooler on a VERY hot day. I plan on putting them in my wedding dress too.

Re: sewing cups into dress versus separate bra/corset..
i wish i had cups sewn into my dress!!! the $95 bra that i wore kept showing and it was the most annoying part of my entire day!!!! i actually spent my entire reception braless, that's how annoyed i was with it.
i was told i couldn't use cups because i was too big on top - but honestly - i would have preferred the cups!!!

How big is too big for cups? I am 34C and was told that cups would be OK, and also that a C cup is too big for cups. So which is it?

Re: sewing cups into dress versus separate bra/corset..
When, I went to get fitted for my dress, I was told that my 34 D, must be in a corset.
Which, to me will be very hot an annoying in July. But, they said, that a sewn in cup, would make my breast/chest look like a plate sitting under my chin? I'll listen to the experts....
I am to big, to have anything hitting my chin...
LOL

I'm having cups sewn in, per my seamstress's recommendation. (I'm another small chested one.)

I am also a 34C and have had cups sewn into dresses. It is the best!! I do it now with all my dresses. You do not have to worry about shifting your bra or worry about it showing.

Re: sewing cups into dress versus separate bra/corset..
I'd love to use cups, but I'd still need a corset.. do they make corsets that only go up to the braline and don't include a 'bra' portion? (cups and straps)
