Social Security Card
I was just wondering who carries their Social Security Card on them and who doesn't???
I know alot of people do, and I was wondering if it is good to carry it or is it a bad idea.
Thanks, Scott

Re: Social Security Card
I figure it's a pain in the butt to replace and I have never needed it for anything other then when I started at my job so I leave it at home.

Re: Social Security Card
it is a MAJOR PAIN to replace and I know the number, so I don't carry the original
Before I had the number memorized and when I was registering at college, etc I had a xerox copy of my card

Re: Social Security Card
Its not that they dont know it, they carry it around for convenience I guess.
I am one of those people. As soon as I get home, I am putting it away though.

Re: Social Security Card
You shouldn't carry it around. What if you lose your wallet? Someone can steal your identity with it!
Better to leave at home....unless you know you are going to have to show it somewhere.
