Need suggestions for a "fun" restaurant in the city.
We are taking a friend of mine out tonight and she needs some cheering up. Can anyone recommend a fun restaurant in the city?

I know Serafina's in the Village usually has a DJ on Wednesday - I dont know about Saturdays though -

Jeckyll & Hyde is always fun(either location)
Serendipity 3 for frozen hot chocolate!!!
La bonne soup for fondue!
Those places always cheer me up!

we actually ended up going to Baraonda for drinks and we had alot of fun. It is a really cool restaurant that turns into a lounge after hours.

I totally forgot about Baraonda! I love that place!!
I went with a whole bunch of my girl friends a couple of months ago - we sat in the front circle table and had two "greek" guys (who spoke not one word of english) trying to pick us up by saying they had no job! - it was too hilarious -
They have yummy food there - glad you had fun!!!
