Having wedding nightmares!!! Please share!

The wedding nightmares have started! Last nights was that the day of my wedding arrived and I didnt finish a lot of the planning like the bridesmaids gifts... A few weeks ago I was walking down the aisle with my dad to silence!!! A few days before that it was my cocktail hour but they put me in a small room and the food was half way gone by the time we got int there. Another one was that my hair and makeup were not done. i am telling you I am starting to stress. Between this and being a teacher, it is taking a toll on me phsyically and mentally. I never break out and I have all over my chin!!! I need a Calgon night!! Can anyone feel my pain??

wow my dreams are all on the same theme. i have 39 days to go and they stopped about 2 days ago. ierry how similar they are.

im glad im not alone. oh did i add in addition to the stress of the wedding and teaching that the HOLIDAYS are approaching. Since I know I cant buy gifts with my good looks --joke :) I have to spend more $$$.

Here's mine from last night:

So I was at the Church and waiting for my flowers to arrive (which for some reason, I didn't order the flowers.. one of my aunts from NJ did) and when they came they were very small and drab looking and wilting. And, instead of it being a whole nice big bouquet, there were just a few of those wilting flowers. They weren't even the right colors either and I remember saying that I knew I should've went to go buy them myself. I asked my aunt how much they cost and she said $5,000! I said $5,000??? You definitely got ripped off and I would complain.. plus I said to her.. why did they cost $5,000 when I didn't even need that many flowers? Only the MOH, JR BR, BM and the parents... why so much? So then afterwards, I wound up walking down the aisle and I remember smiling a lot and I didn't cry at all. And I was very happy even though my flowers were wilted...

OMG! I never thought I would have nightmares either-but I'm human after all.
I had a few.... one where my Father broke his foot and couldn't walk me down the isle!

It comes w/ the territory of planning a wedding. Try to laugh at them... I had tons & found them amusing! LOL

I had one last night . . . I didn't have a hair appt., make-up appt., did not have shoes, and the bm dresses hadn't been altered and were still at the dress store. I remember doing my own hair and it looked hideous . . .

Mine was that fi nd I overslept and missed the church and half the reception( weird) SO WE CALLED THE LIMO GUY TO PICK US UP AND IT WAS THE OLD SCHOOL (80'S) LIMO AND IT WAS WHITE WITH HUGE I MEAN HUGE RUST SPOTS I WAS SO UPSET .......... WHAT A DUMB DREAM

It's so funny, I have the same dreams!

I was having nightmares about the invites for some strange reason. I would dream it was our wedding day, and I couldn't figure out why no one was there, then I'd gasp in horror and realize that I'd never sent out the invites! I had that one a few times, with a little variation for fun.
My favorite wedding nightmare is the one where I'm at work and I get a frantic phone call "Wendy where are you?" "At work, where else?" I realize then that it's my wedding day, and I forgot!
I throw down the phone and run out in a panic.

Nice to know I'm not alone in my lunacy!

i just had one the other night. i dreampt that it was the morning of my wedding, and i was in my house trying to get ready, but i had no hair appt, no makeup appt, and my girls didn't have any appt. either. i keep thinking to my self, 'it is 6am on the day of my wedding, who can i call to help me?' i was also thinking, 'how come just yesterday i had six months to plan this and now it is suddenly the day of my wedding!' it was very strange. needless to say the next day i started making appts for trials for make up!

Wendy, I've had the same dream about forgetting to send out the invites!

My dreams always seem to be about rushing around last minute. Like, I all of a sudden realize that I'm getting married in an hour and I'm not even ready! Then, my bridesmaids dresses are all wrong, I can't find one of my earrings, the heel on my shoe breaks, the limo gets towed....

I had one last night & I'm not even the bride! Dreamed that the proofs of the wedding photos came in & they were terribe. Pictures were of the wrong bride.

Oh, honey....we all get them, lIke we forget to buy our shoes, we forget to pick up the BP, we forget to pay the DJ....it just nerves.

oh my god- i broke out on my chin also!!! not pimples but a rash- made an appt for the dermatologist since I have had it for awhile!!!

i had one a few nights ago where i missed the ceremony (don't know how they went on without me!) and most of the reception because i couldn't do my hair!!! i was in the bridal suite for the whole wedding! LOL

I've had one already - and my wedding isn't until August. I dreamt that I woke up and realized that I had forgotten to buy a dress and had nothing to wear!

How funny!!! This is my 2nd marriage and havent starting with the nightmares just yet. However, with my first marriage, it was hysterical. I had some crazy dreams! Walking down the aisle and my slip falling off. Being introduced by my band at the reception with no guests sitting there, of course the "forgot the invitations" dream. Walking out of my parents house to get into my horse and buggy to realize there was a taxi outside my door.

I must say, with all the jitters I had at that time and all the nightmares that came along with it, desite the fact that my marriage was a complete nightware , there was not one thing that went wrong. Everything was perfect. I think these dreams are just to keep us on our feet, worry about the worst to prevent the worst from happening. I can guarantee you that after having those dreams, you get bet money that I did all my follow ups with the vendors and also used a safety pin around my slip "just in case"!!!

Wow I had a dream that they wrote the wrong number down on my receipt for my gown. I got my gown and it was not the one I tried on!

Isn't it funny how we all dream about the same thing: hair, make-up, shoes. I wonder what it means...... Any dream interpreters out there?!

I had my firts nightmare last night! About hair and makeup. Why are we all dreaming about the same things?
