Anybody working the day after Christmas?
Since it is a Friday this year...
My boss just told us that we can have off Christmas Eve and the day after! We were supposed to work but it is so dead anyway, I am excited, maybe I will come to NY

I'm working....I'm not really sure how that happend though. I was just too slow in taking off i guess. Our of the 12 people in my department 10 are off. Oh well lol.

I take off, our compnay is open but there is no way I am schleping into the city the day after christmas! especially with it being a friday!
I work Christmas eve because I figure we get out early and its quiet so I get to catch up so why waste a day!

We're open. I was going to take the day off, but I am on vacation the week beofre (Florida for our Anniversayr) so I figure I will work it. It should be dead anyway.

As far as I know we have to come to work. A few years back when this happened closed the company (and the day after new years)but took away 2 of our personal days (leaving us with 1). I didn't like that, I much rather choose when I can take off and those wouldn't have been my choices. I hope they don't do that again.

bc the market is open, i am supposed to be here, but i always work the crappy days so i decided that i'm taking vacay that day thru 1/5 so i won't be so miserable!

I'll be working.....like someone said it will be dead and Dh has to work for sure, so I don't want to waste a vacation day.

Right now I am scheduled to work the day after Christmas. However, I am planning on giving my notice next week with my last day being 12/16. So hopefully everything will work out and I will have off.
