Has anyone Lost their Ring (UPDATE)
I left mine on the window sill and it disappeared. The window was closed of course. DO you think my 6 month old cat took it? Ron is freaking. Waited 15 years for it and lost it in less than 90 days.

Look under the bed, look IN the potted plants (someone I know took off her ring and put it on a window sill and her cat buried it in a potted plant). Turn on all of the lights and get down and look. It has to be around somewhere.

I bet your cat took it. My cats take everything that's not glued down! I can never leave my ring laying around. If your cat took it, check under the refrigerator, stove, radiators etc..... he/she probably just played with it.

At least you know it's in the house. Yes, it is possible that your cat thought it was a toy! (I left mine in the kitchen counter once only to find it missing a little later. I finally found it on the kitchen floor hidden under the table - I'm sure one of my cats was the culprit!) Try to stay calm, and look everywhere! Under couches, even under the refrigerator (a lot of our cats' toys end up there).
I'm sure you'll find it!!

My cat plays hockey with of course those things I dont want her to touch...if it were me...I would check under the couch, stove, beds etc. You may also want to check your cats bed, food, water etc...GOOD LUCK!!

I really did think Ron was trying to teach me a lesson. He was not that upset at first. (surprize) But today he is really concerned. He told me to check to see if my kitten ate it. UGG. I will check the plants. It was over my kitchen sink. I find it unlikely it would fit down the drain. (very high setting 1.25 Kt). I cant wait to go home and move the stove and refridge. I had my anniversary band dipped to match the platnum. I really wanted to see them together. Thankfully I have no questions asked insurance on it. Thanks for the tips. I will keep you posted.

Liz check the drain anyway. You never know. Most of the things I've lost, I've found in the places I originally thought "oh it wouldn't be there". Can you bring the kitty to be x-rayed?
Definitely check the kitty litter too just to see. Leave no stone unturned.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RUN WATER OR FLUSH TOILET !!! IT MIGHT BE TRAPPED IN THE DRAIN! I did this once with a pearl earring, it fell down the drain, and my dad had to undo the pipes under the sink- and there it was. Also, try to retrace your steps leading up to losing it. Good luck, I hope u find it, keep us posted!
