Re: Reception Hall Help!Yeah, I agree with the Irish Coffee Pub OR a restaurant type feel because if you are only having about 50 people it would be tuff to get a place (meaning a hall) to book you when they could book a 100++ person wedding.

Re: Reception Hall Help!I was def going to suggest a restaurant. I don't know many catering halls that would do a wedding for only 50 people. Many restaurants have private rooms, they have very nice package's. My personal favorite is Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City. The hold up to 60 people in their private room and their prices are not bad at all (anywhere from about $30-$50 a person).

Re: Reception Hall Help!Caffe on the Green in Bayside is perfect for a smaller wedding, and it does not feel like a hall at all since it is a restaurant. If you live close to Queens, then I would check it out.

Re: Reception Hall Help!I second EastWind...Country Gardens is the smallest one of the 3 places to choose from, plus they are really helpful in working with you to make everything possible. They came down on the number I had to guarantee as well as the price!!
